3 cards, 3 colours 1 design

Hello there

A fairly quick post to share some cards with you.

I had 3 ladies to make birthday cards for and I was so pleased with how the first one turned out, I decided to use the same design but change the colours for the other two.

This was the first one. I'd seen someone make a butterfly using a die and layers of crepe paper so I thought I'd give it a go.
The hardest part was seperating the layers as I cut then from 8 small sheets.
Stupidly I forgot to take a pic of the butterfly layers before sending it.

I made this one the same just changed the colours. Again forgot to take pic of butterfly layers.

This one I used 8 layers of coloured vellum for the butterfly. The wings seem to stand up a lot better giving it more depth. And this time I did remember to take pics.

Not the best pic I could have fiddled about with it a bit more but you get the idea.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts
Babies breath die from The works
Large leaf die and circle frame from Amazon
Butterfly die from Memory Box
Backing papers from The Lovely Studio

Less is More #422

Hi There,

It's time for another fun challenge at Less is More and this time it's,

It's easier than it sounds...honestly!

Quite a bit of masking involved but a fairly quick and easy design.
I used a very old Waltzing Mouse stamp set called Big Blooms in 3 different shades of pink for the solid and Versamark Onyx for the outline.
The sentiment is  Avery Elle Simple Sentiments

Check out the other DT for some fab inspiration and leave them some love

Less is More # 421 Borders

Hi there,

It's Less is More Day,
and this time we have a lovely easy challenge for you

This is my take on it,

I used a border embossing folder from Crafters Companion that my lovely friend Carol gave me ages ago and I have never used before now. Certainly will again.
The flowers were made using a punch and finished off with a pearl centre
The sentiment is from a set called Orchids by Flourishes.

Please check out the challenge blog, there's some fabulous inspiration from the DT
