Art Deco Male card

Hello,

I'm popping in today to share a more masculine card.

I'm not very good at man cards but this die, Geo Tile from Pinkfresh Studio, made me think man straight away although in different colours it would also be great as a feminine card.

I used 3 different shades of green pearlescent card on a gold background for this one. I used double sided adhesive paper on the back of each sheet of colour which made life a little easier.

I did find it quite theraputic actually although a bit fiddly.

Thank you for visiting

Wedding card

 Hello,

Yes I'm back with another card to share. This one is the wedding card I made for my grand daughter and her partner.

A bit of a cheat this one as I downloaded some watercolour clipart from Etsy for this card. The designer I used is called Reachdream and their images are stunning. I'll be sharing other makes using these images in the future.

I used a sheet of vellum to print the bride and grooms names in a pale yellow and as soon as it came through the printer, I added some gold embossing powder. The printer ink stays wet for longer on vellum making it easy to use this method as long as you remember to use an anti static cloth first.

After cutting the vellum into a strip I cut the main image to size. I placed the vellum onto the image where I wanted it and added a small strip of yellow card folded over to sandwich the two papers.

I  used my Cropadile to punch a hole and add an eyelet. I then stuck to image to my card base before adding a die cut Congratulations  from Britania Dies above the names and some gold flat back pearls to finish.

I'm really pleased with the end result. I hope you like it too.

See you soon.

Hexagon football theme birthday

Hi

Yes it's me, trying really hard to be a good blogger.

I'm here today to share the card I made for my son back in July

My lad is Hull city fan who play in black and amber so it was a non brainer to use this fabulous die from Spellbinders. City's away strip is sky blue so I used that for the base and black, amber and white for the hexagons

I was pleased with the outcome and son was impressed so I'm a happy mum.

See you soon

Birthday card

Hello!

Remember me? I'm the old biddy that promised to blog more often way back in March. That went well didn't it?

So...I'm not making any more promises but I do have a few cards to post.

Starting with this one that I made for mu sister in law.

I used Diamond Tiles stamp from Pink Fresh Studio  and Versacolour cyan ink for the background.

The flowers are Lush Peonies stamp and die also from PFS and coloured with marker pens.

I added some blue gem stones to finish.

Have a good day and I'll see you soon.
