Less is More # 427

Hello there,

Time for another challenge at Less is More and, because we have an extra Saturday this month, it's a lucky dip.

If you haven't tried this technique before there are some super tutorial links on the  main challenge blog. It's a first for me too but trust me, it's easier than you think.

I used a tent fold white card to resemble a chalkboard and used some brown card for a frame.
I cut some black card to size and sponged and swiped white ink so it looks like it's been quickly wiped.
I inked my stamp from Lili of the Valley with white ink and stamped it lightly onto the card.

A couple of years ago me & hubby became home town tourists for the day, revisiting the historic old town of Hull that we haven't done since the kids were little. It's changed quite a lot since then with lots of the buildings in the old narrow streets becoming bars and cafe's . Luckily I had my camera with me and couldn't resist taking a pic of this.

It make me chuckle. I couldn't find an amusing stamp among my stash but I do love the one I used.

Check out the inspiration on the challenge blog, we look forward to seeing your creations.

Thanks for popping in x

  1. The sentiment you used is as lovely as the one in the picture is funny. I love them both! Great take on the challenge.
